One of the key drivers to start the Wünder small batch Pinot project in NYC was the excitement that this underrated varietal carries here with Sommeliers in Top Restaurants. When we launched, we dedicated 50 cases to Manhattan Restaurants with the best wine lists ranked by Gayot. This all happened just before Covid and very few cases have moved. While I was concerned about this pandemic and the devastating impact it would have on the world, I never worried about this project. It is a matter of time that we will be out there again, enjoying great food and wine in these spectacular places and we are excited to be part of that re-opening journey.
